E25 AC-DC CURRENT CLAMP

The E25 is a current clamp using Hall-effect technology to measure direct and alternating currents.

It offers 2 sensitivities for measuring currents from a few mA up to 80 A with a 20 kHz bandwidth.

The E25 clamp is powered by battery or by a standard 5 V DC mains adapter via its µUSB interface and offers automatic DC Zero adjustment and an automatic power-off function.

Its lead equipped with 2 insulated male banana plugs can be used to hook it up to any multimeter or other measuring instrument. It can be used to work on 600V CAT III and 300V CAT IV installations.

Function

The E25 clamp is used to measure currents from 5mA to 80ADC OR 60AAC without opening the circuits in which they flow. It reads out the waveform and amplitude of the current being measured, in the form of a voltage. Its shape allows it to reach hard-to-reach places. This clamp can be used with all measuring instruments having banana inputs. It can be used with a multimeter, a wattmeter, a recorder, etc. It can be powered by a battery or at 5VDC via the micro-USB connector.
